MARIAM ARYAI RIVERA manages Art Start’s SONYC program at Nelson Residence in the Bronx, which offers academic enrichment and art workshops 5-days a week for middle school youth living at the shelter. As the onsite director she leads a team of interns, teaching artists, and the HYOP Associate Program Director. Rivera, a multi-media artist fluent in both English and Spanish, has been working with Art Start for over three years and comes from a long history of working as a community organizer and workshop facilitator.
Terri Lynn Martin spent 20+ years as a TV News/Entertainment Producer and Executive Producer before becoming a strength trainer and lifestyle/talent coach. She infused her hard-core show business career experience and discipline into her clients, many of who are television, film and stage talent. Terri Lynn is now her own boss, as an independent business owner and health fitness expert at Terri Lynn Life LLC. Terri trains many of New York's on-air news and entertainment talent, comedians.
Nonye Brown-West is a Nigerian-American comedian, producer, and writer working theaters, clubs and colleges on the East Coast. She has opened for Gina Yashere and Michael Ian Black and has been featured in both the Boston Globe's Rise column as a Comic to Watch and on Sway In The Morning live at Caroline's on Broadway as a part of the New York Comedy Festival. She starred in and produced Will Smith: The Comedy Variety Show at the American Repertory Theater's Club Oberon. She was a guest speaker at Emerson College Center for Comedic Arts during a discussion panel titled "Killing It With Comedy – Can Humor Combat Social Injustice?” and was named Patron Saint of Perpetual Laughter by The Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for her charitable contributions in the Greater-Boston area.
